Johnny Appleseedphrase is a Twitter bot that generates a new Ethereum seed phrase every 5 minutes and tweets it out. It is a commentary on seed phrase security, both at a personal-responsibility level and at a mathematical level.
The process to generate a seed phrase to secure your onchain assets is simple, but it is just easy to leak your seed phrase and lose everything to a scammer, as we have seen numerous times as in the past.
Fortunately, the mathematics behind seed phrase generation is such that it is astronomically unlikely that any randomly generated seed phrase will point to an address with any funds.
A Twitter bot that repeatedly generates and leaks new seed phrases is a reminder that you can't find a seed phrase for a given address with brute force but you can easily give one away.
